The conference 3th Days of Digital Photogrammetry took place on 10-11 February 2005 in palace in Paszkówka near Kraków. It was organized by ECOGIS.

Among participants we had representatives of Universities and Technical High Schools and a lot of participants represented commercial companies. We had also some guests from abroad, among others Mr. Josef Braun (Support Director, INPHO GmbH, Germany) and Mr. Franz Leberl (Vexcel Imaging Austria GmbH).

The first presentation was given by Mr. Josef Braun, who showed a new products from INPHO GmbH. He spoke not only about a new software available (DTMaster, OrthoVista 4.0) but also about the planned releases (Match-T 4.0, OrthoMaster 2.0). Next presentation, given by prof. Franz Leberl, was about the digital aerial large format camera UltraCamD. He spoke about technical details but also gave some very interesting practical remarks and reports from UltraCamD projects, sample images (ie. with 3cm ground pixel size).

Other participants spoke about software and hardware products offered by their companies, i.e. ERMapper and Image Web Server from EarthResource Mapping (ProGea Consulting, Krakow) and common solution for GPS, GIS & photogrammetry (ImpexGeo, ESRI Polska and ECOGIS). Eurosystem Sp. z o.o. from Chorzów showed results of their tests with LIDAR data collection and processing.

Apart from the official part of the meeting some other events were organized. The first was winter games in a palace park (curling, snowball and biathlon). Winners were decorated with gold medals and received symbolical prizes. In the evening all participants could listen to the concert of Kuba Sienkiewicz.

During the second day of the conference it was possible “to touch” the products presented earlier by INPHO, ECOGIS, ESRI Polska and ProGea Consulting. Moreover polish users of Inpho software presented some reports from their projects and their remarks to used solution.
