Warszawa-Rembertów commune orthophotomap generation

The orthophotomap was generated basing on the PHARE aerial images registered in Poland in 1996 and 1997. For the image orientation 40 terrain points were measured with use of GPS. 55 sheets of orthophotomap in 1:1000 scale were worked out and saved in TIFF format. Compilation of the digital map for the needs of the telecommunication network of Telefonia Lokalna Dialog S.A.

Basing on the copy of base map in the following scales: 1:250, 1:500 and 1:1000 in "1965" or local reference system, together with explained run of the Telefonia Lokalna DIALOG S.A. telecommunication network following features were gained: data of the network of T.L. DIALOG S.A., building-layer (outlines, descriptions, address numbers, number of storeys) and the street-axis (with street names). More than 3000 ha were worked out.

The aim of the project was collection of height information for the area of Brandenburg, Germany with accordance to defined data structure and topology. Contents of the base map was converted into digital form meeting the ALK guidelines compulsory in Germany .
